What payment methods are available?

We accepts payment by credit / debit card, cheques and by BACS payment. Please do not send cash. We cannot be responsible for cash that is lost in the mail.

All payments need to be in UK pounds (£).

You will be billed at a monthly or annual interval (as determined by your subscription) unless you change your billing period or cancel hosting for the domain.

Illumen will deactivate web hosting accounts for which there is an overdue invoice of 28 days or more.

A £15.00 administration fee will be charged for all bounced cheques.

What billing periods are available?

You will be invoiced annually, based on the billing method you have selected for your hosting plan.

At the end of each 12 month period you will be automatically billed another 12 months in advance unless you change your billing period or cancel hosting for the domain.

Annual pre-payments are non-refundable after 30 days.

How will I be invoiced?

You will be sent an invoice by email. Please contact us if you require an invoice sent out by mail.

Is there a discount for hosting more than one domain with Illumen?

Yes, please contact us with the details of the domains you would like to host with us.

Is there a discount for non-profit organisations?

Yes, if you are a registered charity then you can qualify for our non-profit discount. You will need to contact us with your Registered Charity Number before we can apply the discount.

Who do I pay for domain registration and how much does it cost?

You can register a domain through the domain registrar of your choice. The prices will vary from registrar to registrar.

We can register and manage a domain on your behalf for the cost of the domain plus a one-off fee of £10.00. Please contact us for more information and to confirm prices.

How do I transfer the ownership of a web hosting account for a domain to a new owner?

How do I modify my hosting subscription for a domain?

Please contact us with your modification request.

How do I cancel my hosting subscription for a domain?

Please contact us with your cancellation request.

The customer is liable for all services rendered and billed up until the time that the account is cancelled. Hosting charges are not pro-rated when an account is cancelled. As long as the cancellation is completed prior to the day of the next scheduled payment, you will not be billed beyond the current month.
